No "PRNG is not seeded" message on AIX

The problem is that /dev/*random devices are not there after a reboot.

The solution is simple: make the devices again.

To get this to work automatically you need to add one line to /etc/rc.d/rc2.s/Ssshd - adding a call to /usr/sbin/randomctl to create the /dev/*random devices and load the drivers!

Modified /etc/rc.d/rc2.d/Ssshd

#!/bin/ksh

##################################################
# name: Ssshd
# purpose: script that will start or stop the sshd daemon.
##################################################

case "$1" in
start )
        /usr/sbin/randomctl -l ## add this to be sure /dev/*random are available
        startsrc -g ssh
        ;;
stop )
        stopsrc -g ssh
        ;;
* )
        echo "Usage: $0 (start | stop)"
        exit 1
esac
