Hello Michael
Thanks for your response, but I find out that thr chroot:/lib and chroot:/usr/bin has to be upgraded when I upgrade from AIX 5.3 to 6.1.
That I should have thought about !!!!

But when i did that, every things works again....

Regards

When you create a chroot area you also need to copy the commands you want in the new /usr/bin area, etc.

There are two AWK programs in /usr/samples/tcpip that should help you:

anon.ftp
anon.users.ftp

The first script creates the chroot ftp area, and the second script creates the anonymous account -- AND -- can also be used to create user accounts in the chroot area!

I'm creating a "controlled" ftp site, with chroot.
Problem: Windows users can not list contents of dir, when they are logged on!
when I create the file /etc/ftpaccess.ctl
They can deliver files, but can not list what files are.
If I use ftp from cmd "DOS" I can see files with "ls" but not "dir"
(This is the same if i logon from AIX)
If I delete /etc/ftpaccess.ctl, they have access as normal ftp users

I'm almost sure I have done it earlier!
so I guess it's a AIX6.1 problem but have no access to AIX 5.3 anymore.

If there are additional questions about this - please ask!

Any good idea's ?
Regards Jesper
